Big Changes at SF Chronicle: We Are Finally Getting a Real Paper (Reflection 38)

Big changes at the Chronicle. Here is my comment on Michael Bauer’s blog which will most likely be deleted today.

Last gasps at Chroncile. Paolo will one of the top 3 people Bauer and Editors of Chronicle would have wished to disappear from the face of some planet. Maybe it means some of the Chronicle people are disappearing. That is a huge culture change for Chronicle and one step closer to the future of no Chronicle. Your business editors could tell you what a “change agent” in the business world is. Of the many times a change agent appears at a business one is when a take-over is looming and the old staff are being weeded out. Paolo would be a top SF candidate for such job. I am sure of one thing he may play ball with SF Chronicle but does not have the same blood in his veins and will be not a subordinate to Bauer. Good luck to everyone in the future unfolding and a new SF paper is in the works. P.S. Don’t delete this comment please. It is well within your editorial guidelines.
