This would have been a good tasting. I will have to catch the next one.

Few brewers have garnered the critical acclaim and public admiration that Sam Calagione from Dogfish Head Brewing in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware has– and for good reason. Since opening Delaware’s first brewpub, Dogfish Head has evolved into one of the most innovative and creative breweries in the country, consistently releasing beers that excite and inspire by pushing the boundaries of accepted brew styles. And along the way, they have occasionally invented a new one.

While many of Sam’s best brews do not make it out to the left coast, we are fortunate enough to now have three year-round beers available in our market, as well as a rotating seasonal selection. And due to the miracle of volume purchasing, the Jug Shop has secured a total of six beers for tomorrow night’s tasting!

We’ll be sampling the three year-round beers Midas Touch, Palo Santo Maroon and 90 Minute IPA, as well as three seasonals including Festina Peche, Aprihop and Chicory Stout. And if you are very, VERY good boys and girls, we may even let you in on one of our favorite libations. Here’s a hint: it involves a blend of seasonal brews. See you at the tasting.
